We launched our first round of BUILD grants from 2016 to 2021, dispersing $1 billion in grant dollars to nearly 350 grantee partners in over 30 countries spanning all of Ford’s programmatic areas. The next round of $1 billion in BUILD grants will be awarded starting in January 2022 through 2026.
Our BUILD partners cover a spectrum of critical functions and capabilities—from grassroots mobilizing to policy analysis to strategic litigation. All of them stand to benefit from sustained efforts to strengthen their organizational core.
