Grants database FAQs
What’s in the grants database?
Our grants database displays active grants from the Ford Foundation. A grant maintains its active status until all reporting requirements have been fulfilled. Grants appear in the database after their first payment has been issued.
Where can I find information about older grants?
Annual reports for 1950-2012 can be downloaded from the Governance and Financial Documents section of this website. Annual Form 990-PF information returns for 2011-present are also available there.
Additionally, the foundation’s archival materials, documenting our work from 1936 to 2006, are collected at the Rockefeller Archive Center in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The collection is available to researchers by appointment.
