Nina Sisa Guamán Villa was born in the Santa Rosa de Culluctus community, in the Chimborazo Province in Ecuador. She is an activist within the Indigenous movement in Ecuador, and a human rights defender. Nina advocates for the rights and political participation of young women within the Indigenous movement in Ecuador with CONAIE, an Indigenous rights organization in Ecuador. She is part of the Continental Link of Indigenous Women of the Americas, serving on their commission on childhood and youth, working with young Indigenous women from different countries promoting the success of Indigenous leaders.
