Ines Burbulis
Grants Manager, Creativity and Free Expression

Ines Burbulis is a grants manager for the Creativity and Free Expression program at Ford, where she primarily supports the JustFilms global initiative.
Prior to joining the foundation in 2025, Ines gained experience in philanthropy as a grants associate at the Howard Gilman Foundation and as a grants manager at the Bainum Family Foundation. She transitioned to the philanthropic sector in 2019 after an initial career in development, providing her with valuable perspectives that she has applied to optimize processes within her grant operations roles. Her ongoing professional objectives include enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring transparency, and maximizing the impact of each grant awarded.
Ines is actively involved in the grants management and philanthropic community. She recently began a two-year term as co-chair of the PEAK Northeast Communications Committee. In 2024, she co-authored an article focusing on alternative reporting methods for grantees, which was published in PEAK Grantmaking’s Journal, Issue 21.
Ines holds a bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York at Purchase College, and she has earned a certification in Management Essentials from Harvard Business School.
