Gleice Sanches is the grants manager of the foundation’s Brazil office. She manages the flow of grant-related transactions for the program team, as well as oversees grantee support, grant proposal and report reviews, office program budget management, grantee financial health assessment, and grants system management and analysis.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2006, Gleice served as finances supervisor at BRTÜV, a German-Brazilian quality management company, where she supervised the organization’s operational, financial, and administrative processes, led accountancy reviews and budget controls, and worked as a specialist in quality management audits in the administrative-financial sector.

Gleice has an MBA in business management and a compliance diploma from Getúlio Vargas Foundation. She also holds an accounting degree and a law degree, both from University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
