Summary Description
The Application Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing the .Net based applications. The developer manages all aspects of the application development process, including designing, programming, testing, implementing and system maintenance. S/he provides technical supervision to other development resources. The Developer must have a thorough understanding of .Net based application development technology tools and a proven record of accomplishment in developing complex applications, problem resolution and applications maintenance.
Qualifications
• Six to ten years of application systems development and maintenance experience with extensive Intranet applications development experience in a .Net environment.
• BA/BS or equivalent combination of experience and education in Computer Science.
• Extensive experience in design and development using .Net technology .Net 3.0, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, IIS, XML, SQL, Ajax, HTML / XML, web services, etc.
• Strong experience with systems development methodologies/techniques.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle processes and procedures.
• Experience in developing technical solutions for packaged and custom developed software in mixed in/out-sourced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft Certification desired.
• Extensive SharePoint development experience preferred.
• MOSS 2007 development experience strongly preferred.
Salary
$71,300 - $85,100
