Summary Description

Provide administrative and analytical support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and members of the HR team. Coordinate the flow of information and communications within HR, across the Foundation and with outside individuals/firms, demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and discretion. Establish/maintain follow-up process and files; review e-communications and take action as appropriate. Schedule appointments and manage busy calendar; coordinate meeting logistics. Assist in and
coordinate preparation of HR Budget and mid-year review; develop and monitor CHRO cost budget; track expenses vs. budget; process invoices. Prepare materials for executive level presentations. Handle special projects as needed. Serve as a resource for other members of HR staff.


Qualifications

This position requires significant experience that demonstrates maturity, leadership skills, problem solving skills, independent judgment, ability to work well under pressure, ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a busy environment, analytical focus, attention to detail, and outstanding judgment and discretion handling highly confidential information. Must be customer-service oriented and possess excellent communications skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills and be able to interface with tact and diplomacy at all levels of the foundation and with outside individuals/firms. Must be a self-starter, able to work well with others, and able to prioritize and follow-through on work assignments independently. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and in using on-line research tools. A minimum of 5 years administrative experience interfacing at senior executive levels required.


Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS or combination of equivalent experience and education. Knowledge of the Foundation's resources and operations.
