Gabrielle Sulzberger, a general partner and investment manager of the private equity fund Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners LP, serves on the Ford Foundation Board of Trustees. Previously, she served as chief financial officer of Crown Services, based in San Jose, California, and as a managing partner of BE/Greenwich Street Capital in New York.
In 2014, NACD Directorship Magazine named Sulzberger one of the 100 most influential people in the boardroom community. She chairs the board of Whole Foods Market, and, on behalf of Rustic Canyon, serves on the board of Initiative Foods. She is also a trustee of Brixmor Property Group, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, and the WomenCorporateDirectors Foundation, and she is a member of the Trinity Church Vestry. She has served on the boards of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Stage Stores, the Boston Children’s Museum, the Entrepreneurial Growth and Investment Institute, and The Boston Partnership.
A member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Sulzberger was a 1997 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Princeton University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
