Sharon Ebron is the central point of contact for, and the operational bridge and partner between, program staff and all grants management, budgeting, and related efforts. As director of grants management, she oversees a cohort of 12 New York grants managers and serves as liaison with grants and administrative staff in regional offices.
Sharon started her career with the foundation in 1985 and has served under four presidents, playing a growing role in grants management over the past three decades. She previously held other positions in grants management, including assistant grants administrator, grants administrator, and senior grants manager.
Sharon is a key member of the office of program services’ leadership team, serving as a link with and providing information and guidance to program teams. During her tenure, she has trained grants managers, program officers, and vice presidents on the foundation’s policies and procedures.
Sharon attended the State University of New York–Purchase and Pace University, majoring in accounting. She is a member of the Grants Managers Network.
