Miriam is a program assistant with Natural Resources and Climate Change. She supports program officers in managing their administrative and operations needs, coordinates grants, and facilitates communication with grantees.

Before joining Ford, Miriam worked at the New York Botanical Garden as senior coordinator for public programs. She was responsible for researching, curating, managing, and producing over 500 events that aligned with multicultural exhibitions, including performances, festivals, and educational programs. 

Miriam holds a degree in sociology from Fordham University and volunteers with Soul of the Peruvian Andes, an organization that brings medical supplies to rural communities in the Peruvian Andes.
