Mariana Perez is a grants manager for the foundation’s Mexico and Central America office, where she oversees grants operations across the region. She joined Ford in 2016 as a grants manager in the Andean Region office.

Before joining Ford, Mariana worked in civil society, specializing in the usage of budgets and public policies to close socioeconomic gaps. She has dedicated her career towards working toward a more fair and equitable society and understanding the ways that human passions have shaped history and furthered human rights.

Mariana holds a bachelor of arts in international relations from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
