Marcia Nichoel-Polycarpe is a senior grants manager on the Civic Engagement and Government team. Her work focuses on strengthening human rights worldwide,increasing civic and political participation, and promoting transparent, effective, and accountable government. Previously, she was a program assistant, focusing on economic development and managing grant compliance, processes, budgets, reporting, and data analytics. She joined Ford in 1994 as aa department coordinator, providing administrative support to directors working in investment administration, asset allocation, and strategic research.

Before joining the foundation, Marcia organized and coordinated meetings and conferences in the public and private sectors. She is a graduate of the City University of New York’s Baruch College and is certified by New York University in conference and meeting management.
