Kelsey Simmons is the evaluation and learning officer on the Strategy and Learning team. She accompanies program teams in their strategy evaluations in addition to building out Ford’s monitoring and learning systems.

Prior to joining Ford, Kelsey worked at the International Rescue Committee as a learning advisor for the Violence Prevention and Response Unit, supporting teams to design and implement equality-driven and feminist monitoring, evaluation, and learning strategies. Prior to that, she worked as an evaluation specialist at EnCompass LLC, where she managed technical assistance and evaluation projects for foundations, governments, multilateral institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

Kelsey holds an MA in international development studies from George Washington University with a focus on monitoring and evaluation, and a BA in international affairs from the University of Georgia. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia from 2010-2012.
