Gabrielle Sulzberger, a chair of Teneo’s global ESG practice, serves on the Ford Foundation Board of Trustees. Previously, she was a general partner and investment manager of the private equity fund Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners LP and, prior to that, she served as chief financial officer of Crown Services in California and managing partner of BE/Greenwich Street Capital in New York.

Sulzberger is a founding member of the Board Diversity Action Alliance and serves on the boards of Eli Lilly & Company, MasterCard, Cerevel Therapeutics, and several private companies. She also holds board positions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Sesame Workshop, Warby Parker, Trinity Wall Street, and the Conference Board. She has served on the boards of Whole Foods, Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Stage Stores, Teva Pharmaceuticals, the Boston Children’s Museum, the Entrepreneurial Growth and Investment Institute, and the Boston Partnership.

A member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Sulzberger was a 1997 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Princeton University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
