Christian Loubeau manages the foundation’s international operations and business continuity, working directly with Ford’s 10 regional offices. Previously he was a United States diplomat serving in the Office of Mexican Affairs, coordinating cross-border infrastructure development with the interagency. Prior to that he served as Security Council negotiator and special assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations where he produced high visibility materials for a White House cabinet official. He has deep experience in policy, programming, and crisis management from diplomatic assignments in Cuba and Haiti. Chris received the U.S. State Department’s Charlie Rangel International Affairs fellowship.
Before diplomacy, Chris was a public school teacher for four years including three years with Teach for America in Miami. He is a 2020 French-American Young Leader and 2021 Arena Academy participant. He holds a master’s of international affairs from Columbia University. Chris is passionate about social justice and speaks French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish.
