Alice C. Goh is director in the foundation’s Office of the Executive Vice President, where she serves as chief of staff and leads strategic initiatives, including Ford Global Fellows. Previously, she was senior program manager for Education, Creativity, and Free Expression, and worked closely with the Africa regional offices. She has played a key role in the development of foundation strategy and planning.
Before joining Ford in 2014, Alice was a management consultant to education organizations and foundations. This included advising CEOs to help them grow their organizations, address challenges, and build capabilities. Before that, she was vice president of Strategy and Administration at Teach for All, where she served on the founding senior leadership team and was responsible for global finance, technology, and operations. Alice has held management positions in the nonprofit and private sectors and began her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and Hong Kong.
Alice serves on the board of LitWorld. She is also a term member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women. She earned an MBA and master's in education from Stanford University and a BS in policy analysis from Cornell University.
