Peter A. Nadosy, managing partner of East End Advisors, serves on the Ford Foundation Board of Trustees. Prior to co-founding East End Advisors in 2008, Nadosy spent 27 years at Morgan Stanley. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1981 and was named managing director in 1984, president of Morgan Stanley Asset Management in 1985, and vice chairman in 1995. In 1998, he became an advisory director and continued to serve the firm in a consulting capacity. Before Morgan Stanley, he spent 11 years working at the Fiduciary Trust Company of New York.
Nadosy is board chair of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and also serves on the boards of the Charles A. Dana Foundation, Central European University, and St. Andrew's Dune Church in Southampton, New York.
Nadosy has been appointed as a life trustee of Brooks School and Amherst College, from which he received an honorary degree in 2001. He graduated from Harvard College and Columbia Business School.
