Marcia Nichoel-Polycarpe is a member of the Democracy, Rights, and Justice, and Civic and Engagement and Government, teams. As a grants manager at the foundation, she has worked on supporting democracy, rights, and justice, with a focus on strengthening human rights worldwide and on increasing civic and political participation and promoting transparent, effective, and accountable government. She has also managed grant compliance, processes, budgets, reporting, and data analytics. Earlier, she served as a department coordinator, providing administrative support to directors working in investment administration, asset allocation, and strategic research. Previous to serving in this role, she was a program assistant focusing on economic development.
Marcia began her career at Ford in 1994. Before joining the foundation, she organized and coordinated meetings and conferences in the public and private sectors. She’s a graduate of the City University of New York's Baruch College and is certified by New York University in conference and meeting management.
