John K. Naughton is part of the Creativity and Free Expression team. As grants manager he has focused on filmmaking and philanthropy and other areas. He has also served in a variety of research, organizational development, and consulting capacities, including as a project coordinator for GrantCraft, from 2001 through 2010. In this position, he was responsible for website development, social marketing, and partnership development.
John has been with the foundation since 2000. He is a former director of development, alumni affairs, and admissions at International House in New York. He was a founding editorial advisory board member for American Benefactor magazine and has a range of other experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic community.
John attended Columbia University as an undergraduate, majoring in economics.
