The Ford Foundation has joined forces with the Girls Not Brides campaign and its more than 100 partner organizations to end the practice of child marriage and protect the rights of girls everywhere. Initiated by The Elders, Girls Not Brides is amplifying the voices of girls and strengthening the efforts of civil society groups working locally, regionally, and globally. The Ford Foundation supports related work—including research, policy analysis, and advocacy—designed to shed light on the problem of child marriage and develop solutions that make a difference in the lives of girls, their families, and their communities.
