Peter A. Nadosy
TrusteePeter Nadosy, managing partner of East End Advisors, serves on the Ford Foundation Board of Trustees. He is chair of the board's Investment Committee and a member of the Education, Creativity and Free Expression; Executive; Nominating; and Proxy committees.
Prior to co-founding East End Advisors in 2008, Nadosy spent 27 years at Morgan Stanley. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1981, was named managing director in 1984; president of Morgan Stanley Asset Management in 1985; and vice chairman in 1995. In 1998, he became an advisory director and continued to serve the firm in a consulting capacity. Before Morgan Stanley, Nadosy spent 11 years working at the Fiduciary Trust Company of New York.
Nadosy serves on the boards of the Harvard Management Company, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, The Charles A. Dana Foundation, the Central European University and St. Andrew's Dune Church in Southampton, N.Y. In addition, Nadosy is a director at Quantum Fun, and he serves on the investment committees of the Altman Foundation, the Summit Foundation, the Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust and St. Thomas Church.
Nadosy has been appointed as a life trustee of Amherst College, from which he received an honorary degree in 2001. He graduate from Harvard College and Columbia Business School.
